Strategy & Approach

Developing the strategy

The strategy and aims of this project was to showcase Hawksmoor construction's work in the best light that matches the image the company wants to portray. Their high attention to detail involved in their construction and building had to be delivered onto the website pixel perfect.

Defining the brand

Through a series of excerises in the strategy sessions, we were able to extract and refine the key pillars of the brand. This defined the brands personality: how it should look, sound, feel and act.

User Experience

Working very closely with Paul from Hawksmoor Construction we used an iterative approach to the design, we were able to completely revolutionise the user journey. The website has been built with user-friendliness in mind. The main importance was the showcase of the projects, the imagery maintains its HD quality throughout the responsiveness from desktop to tablet to mobile device.

What Hawksmoor said

"I connected with Dan first on LinkedIn and then on Instagram as I was exploring switching website suppliers. I had used two previous companies over the last 3 years and was never happy with the quality of the service or more importantly the quality of the website. From the outset I could tell Dan had the exact vision and ability to create what I had been after for 3 years. He turned around the website faster than initially agreed as he knew we were having problems and his attention to detail and customer service is as good as any one I have met. Nothing was ever too much trouble and I probably drove him crazy with our amount of tweaks and edits but it was never too much trouble and he was always quickly on hand to help. I have already recommended him to some other businesses I know and I will be doing this for the foreseeable future when ever I hear of anyone in need of a website"
